PASTOR DAVID AND SISTER RUTH FARINA
Pastor Farina has been serving the Calvary family for over 45 years. He has been anointed to minister healing, wholeness and restoration to the body of Christ. Called a "Pastor to Pastors", he has served as a leader of a denomination and mentored many men and women in the ministry. His ministry continues to impact the body of Christ and the local community through outreaches birthed under his leadership that include Calvary Childcare Center, Calvary Christian School, Calvary Counseling Center and the Calvary Radio and Television ministry. His wife, Sister Ruth Farina, is the Women's Ministries leader. She continues to serve alongside her husband. They have three children, David and his wife Elaine, Ruthann (Promoted to heaven February 15, 2016) and her husband Marc and Renee and her husband Mark. The Farinas are also blessed with five grandchildren and currently seven great grandchildren.
PASTOR DAVID AND ELAINE FARINA
Pastor David serves as the Associate Pastor and covers the Worship Ministry as well as the Radio and Television Ministry. Pastor David, working closely with his father, Pastor Farina, helps in the leadership of the overall church ministry. With the future of Calvary as the focus of his ministry, Pastor David looks to extend the vision of Calvary past the walls of the church to the community at large. His wife Elaine along with their married children, Stephanie and Mark, JD and Christina, and Kristin and Brian share in the future God has planned. Pastor David and Elaine have five grandchildren.
PASTOR DAN AND NORINA BAVARO
A native of New York City, Pastor Dan has served in Bronx NY, Boston MA, Barrington RI and Littlestown PA before settling here at Calvary. Along with his wife Norina and their two children, DJ and Milena, the Bavaros became part of the Calvary Family in March 2011. Pastor Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from LehmanCollege, CUNY. While his portfolio has always revolved around “the music and the money”, his passion and his primary calling and gifting is at the keyboard leading worship. His years of ministry to the body of Christ combined with his education and experience in administration, music and technology has produced a man with a unique gift / skill mix. With a heart for the kingdom and a passion that remains unchanged, Pastor Dan desires to see people saved, healed, delivered and lifted into a new dimension of life in Christ, through worship.
PASTOR JD AND CHRISTINA FARINA
Pastor JD and Christina lead Remnant Youth Ministries. Under their leadership our youth ministry has reached new heights. Their passion for youth is training young leaders and reaching young people with The Gospel. Through weekly meetings, community events and outreaches in local schools, Remnant is touching this generation. Remnant youth meet on Friday night with teenagers hungry for worship and hearing the message targeted to their age group. JD is also the Eastern District Youth President for the IFCA. JD and Christina are the proud parents of two children.
PASTOR MAURICE AND YVONNE LASSITER
Pastor Maurice has been at Calvary since 1995. He has been an integral part of the ministry directed toward healing and restoring people whom the Lord sends our way. It began with a support class called "Beauty for Ashes". From then till now Pastor Maurice's heart has been aligned with the restoration message that has been the theme at Calvary. Pastor Maurice is responsible for Life Groups as well as working in the Christian Counseling Ministry. Maurice's wife, Yvonne, and two children, Kylil and Autumn complete his family.
PASTOR GAM AND HOLLY RIVERA
Pastor Gam grew up at Calvary. He has seen the work grow and participated as Youth Pastor as well as teaching at Calvary Christian School. His new responsibilities are in the areas of follow-up and outreach. He directs the visitation ministry and works closely with Pastor Carlos Zayas with outreach to our community. Pastor Gam’s family is comprised of his wife Holly, and their children Faith and Joel.
PASTOR JUAN AND JULIE MELO
Pastor Melo is our Pastor for the Spanish speaking people. Pastor Melo was ordained into the ministry in 1988. He has ministered at Calvary for more than twenty years. Together with his wife Julie, they direct our Spanish Ministries. They are blessed with three children David, Lila and Anjuli who serve faithfully with them in ministry. They also have two grandchildren.
DR. EMMANUEL AND RUTH AHIA
Dr. Ahia is the Director of the Calvary Christian Counseling Center. He believes the Word of God is the complete and sufficient basis for bringing rest to those who are “weary and burdened” with spiritual, emotional, personal and professional problems/issues.
He holds an earned BA degree and an MA degree from Wheaton College in Illinois as well as a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University. Dr. Ahia is also a lawyer and is experienced in mediation. He is a professor, and is the Director of the Education Specialist Degree in Counseling Program at Rider University. He has also been a counseling professor and administrator at other universities (Johns Hopkins University, The University of Arkansas, and Southern Illinois University). Dr. Ahia is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and American Counseling Associations, American Association for Christian Counselors (AACC), and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the American Bar Association. He is the author of many books and articles on counseling and mental health law. Dr. Ahia and his wife Ruth are parents of children who are saved and active in the things of God.
MS. ROBIN LASKEY
Robin Laskey (affectionately known as “Miss Robin”) is the director of Calvary Christian School, Calvary Child Care Center and Calvary Children’s Ministries. Her warm smile and caring heart endears her to children and adults alike. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Temple University and has over 25 years of experience in the field.
PASTOR CARLOS AND JACKIE ZAYAS
Pastor Carlos and Jackie direct Leave99, our outreach ministry to the local community. They have a desire to help hurting and lost people with a ministry that feeds and clothes the homeless and others with help for their practical needs. Hundreds of people are ministered to on a weekly basis under their leadership. Carlos is a graduate of Zion Bible College. They are the parents of two children, Jayden and Donovan.
